On The Beautiful

I trust that we are filling the rods and cones of our eyes with as many beautiful objects as we can see, the cochlea of our inner ears with as many beautiful sounds as we can hear, our tongue and palate with as many beautiful words as we can form! These days the world needs as much beauty as we can recognize and bring forth from within ourselves. And we must never sell ourselves short by not recognizing the strains of harmony, order and innate good that we carry naturally.

The natural beauties in life...

Yes, much beauty can be seen subjectively; one’s man’s view of loveliness may not be noticed by another. But if we are engaged in the very act of living fully every day, we will not miss the natural beauties in life…the light and deep greens of a forest spread upon the landscape; the sheer, foaming glory of a waterfall; the constantly expanding beauty of a wise child, a compassionate woman and an involved man.

Some second looks?...

Every day we live we have the opportunity to create beauty by the works of our hands and the uplifting thoughts in our hearts. If our natural living does not permit us to use our inherent expression of the beautiful, we are missing the best that is within us. Maybe we have let a bit of grey obscure a bright gift we have not offered for a while or maybe not at all. Do we need to take some second looks?

It needs our love...

We all know that life can be noisy and chilling, intimidating and sometimes scary. It needs our love and inherent loveliness…and it always will.
