On Never Too Late

Unless we are regretting the vigorous athletics we may have overlooked in our stripling days, there really are not many things that are too late for consideration. If we have taken reasonable care of ourselves, our bodies should be up to learning some new dance steps. If we can still carry a tune, we can learn some new songs, and if we have kept ourselves involved in daily living, we can still grapple with new ideas.

A curve ball...

By now we should know that it’s not a good idea to get too comfortable where we find ourselves because life, in all is capriciousness, can throw us a curve ball at any time. Perhaps it really is a good idea to entertain some new possibilities in case life comes along and takes something precious away. Those of us with a few miles on us clearly know that this can happen.

What can lie ahead?...

What can lie ahead? Where can our curiosities take us? Is it time to fall in love again…if not with a charming person, perhaps in developing an interesting skill? Or if that charming person should walk through the door, would we be intrigued enough to take a chance?

Living fully is risky...

Living fully is risky. We could get hurt, and we could be disappointed. But then, how much belief in ourselves still lingers in the mists? How much discovery still lies in wait?

Shall we find out?
