How’s the year been going? Better than expected? Not doing so well? I think it’s a good idea to take stock of where we find ourselves with some regularity. In doing so, ideas and events don’t just blow past us as we let time and tide trickle through our fingers. We are much too important for that, and it would be a real shame to let our gift-giving qualities simply drain away.
Our freedoms can be eroded...
It may be true that we cannot do a lot personally about national, big-ticket items, but we can always do more. We are not serfs working someone else’s land. We are talented individuals, citizens, stakeholders in our own lives and in the lives of other citizens. I try greatly not to get political, but at the same time I do believe that our freedoms can be eroded, and this we must pay attention to.
A Divine Good within all of us...
There is, I believe, a Divine Good within all of us---a Wisdom, a Flow, a natural Guidance that attends us every day. We are heirs to the gifts of the Spirit---Intelligence, Order, Harmony, Beauty, Creativity and so much more. These gifts, like any other, must be actively utilized to fully flower. We could consciously choose every day where we shall place our energies and with whom and what we shall share our love. I have often written that we have gifts to bring, those naturally found within us. They are needed now more than ever! Let’s bring them!
