On The March of Time

We move through the days, months and years of our lives with alternating successes and failures, joys and sorrows, small and large choices, all in accordance with active living. There’s always another day, another dollar, another page to turn. Yes? Then one day we may find ourselves on the shortening end of the march of time, when we know that we have much more physical past than future before us, which may make us view our choices differently. U.S. Senator from California, Dianne Feinstein, finds herself viewing one of these choices. At 83, should she re-up in 2018 for another six-year term? Should she step aside for younger leaders and consider the needs of an ailing husband and her own energies and desires? Who can know the answers to these questions better than she?

Greater wisdom...

We also find ourselves in such positions as our lives move along. Can we continue to do what we have always done, or does greater wisdom dictate a change in the way we do things? Here is where insight and courage come into the picture when we must look internally and search for answers no one else can give us. We know how valuable we are to life and our loved ones, and we know the possibilities before us. Perhaps we will have to call on discernment only we can find through our connection to Infinite Wisdom.

Not for sissies...

Some smart guy somewhere along the line said that growing older is not for sissies! Boy, was he right!
