Telling Our Stories

To an old student of American metaphysics – i.e. Christian Science, Science of Mind, and Divine Science, to name a few systems--- the widespread invitation to “tell our stories” would have been unthinkable fifty years ago! To the metaphysical student of the 19th and 20th Centuries, “telling our stories” would have meant wallowing in the illusions and untruths of everyday living. It would have meant focusing on physical experiences rather than seeking “the Truth.” In early American metaphysics, the concern about seeking spiritual Truth was all, and concentration upon the things of the earth and ordinary living were considered error-filled thinking, worthy only of the least attention possible and certainly not telling any stories about them.

We practice essential Truth...

Today we are at a place where we can know that spiritual Truth and everyday living are and have always been deeply connected. We practice essential Truth that can become active experiences. Stories have their place...
