Acting in Love

       

These days there is so much “attitude” taking place so often that even going out of the house can feel like a bristle. If we weren’t aware of it before, we now certainly know that the national attitude does influence how ordinary folks can feel about themselves, others and country--- which makes me think that now, at every level, large doses of love need to be called in to fill all spaces.

Love may be within us all...

Don’t mistake me; I do not think of love as a fall-back, “make nice”, position that the wimpy folks take while folding their hands. I am thinking of muscular, feet-on-the-ground love that brings an energy nothing else possesses. I’m not sure that everyone knows that love holds the greatest healing power in the world and that nothing heals over the long haul if love is not present. Love may be within us all, but we have to learn how to use it.

We are all in this life together...

And how does this show up? To begin with, how about simple concern for the well being of ourselves and others? How about wanting for others what we want for ourselves? How about becoming aware that we are all in this life together, even if we are separated by thousands of miles and may never see some of our others? Eventually either we all rise, or we will all fall.

Eternal connection...

The belief in eternal connection is justified. Let’s just think about this, see what actions we might take---and take them!
