We Cannot Live a Choiceless Life.

Whether we fully know it or not, we will discover sooner or later that we cannot live a choiceless life. Eventually our predilections move us into certain areas of interest. Since our belief is that the mind we use is the Mind of God, the range of vitalities and energies of this Mind cannot help but guide us in various directions. Even if it were possible to close every door and shut out every guiding light, we would still be choosing not to choose!

Pay attention to our choices...

It follows, then, that it would be wise to pay attention to where our choices are leading us. Fortunately there are few choices that can be made only once, so we can usually re-think and re-do and our decisions many times over… and we will always and eventually be called upon to answer for them. Even the more narrowed choices of cloistered living demand their own accountability.

Are we choosing to live an enlightened life?......

Hence, not only will we be moved upon by obvious choices, however measured or casual, we will need to pay much greater attention to the directions our lives will take. Are we choosing to live an enlightened life, making decisions that are truly creative and affirmative? Since we come from an Idea in the Mind of God, are we choosing to bring our natural good into life? These are important questions… and they will need to be answered!
