Yes, Yes and Yes!

There is a beautiful Bible verse from Matthew that reads:  “If therefore thine eye be single, the whole body shall be full of light,” which suggests to me that, if we keep our thoughts clear and positive, our entire life shall enjoy more beauty and inspiration.  We know that the way in which we think is important.  Inspired thinking gauges the flow of our lives and gives us clarity and power in our choices.  Why, therefore, would we not say yes to enlightened thoughts?  Why would we not want to come from the highest level of understanding available to us?

We would not want to waste time and energy...

The answer must be that we would not want to waste time and energy slogging along, missing the value of clear thinking and clear knowing.  We would want to say yes to guidance in better living, yes to elevated ideas and actions, yes to joyous uplifts in critical thinking.  This means, then, that we must pay attention to what we grant mind space.  If we find ourselves aimless or misled, we have somehow gotten off track mentally and should hasten to return to thought patterns that give rise to positive choices.

What are we saying yes to?...

What are we saying yes to?  Are we deliberately seeking out people and ideas that cause us to unsettle ourselves for the better?  Are we exploring paths we have never traced before?  Perhaps we should take another look at where our yeses are taking us!
