When everyone else forgets you or can’t be bothered, good friends will be on hand. Even when things look bleak, they’ll be the ones who will say, “How can I help?”
When nothing is working, when it looks like all the precious effort was for nothing, good friends know better. They’ll say, “Rest a bit. Then let’s take another look.”
When the tears can’t stop falling, good friends always have handkerchiefs with them, and they’ll be eager to get at those tears.
When it feels like there is no love anywhere, and who would want you anyway?.. good friends bring buckets of love, and they always want you, no matter how bedraggled you feel!
In all of God’s Universe there are none more treasured and rare than those who love you, no matter what. They are the ones who find gold where others see only dust, and they will not let you forget this!
