We play with ideas every day, most often those that will move us through the day with the simple means of handling whatever the demands of the hour may be. But sometimes an idea will come to us that has power and breadth that is greater than simple concerns, something that gives arms and legs to a fire within us that we had not seen before. What then? Does this create a demand and an intention that may cause us to move forward in a manner perhaps not even desired by us… and we may find ourselves becoming an unintended vehicle for something the morning had not foreseen?
An "activist" of sorts.....
Often there is a whole mode of activity that lines up behind a worthy idea, something that may need only our energy and motion but at other times will need compatriots who will also seize upon the thrusting demands of its surge, and we will become very busy fulfilling something larger than ourselves. We may find ourselves, of all things, an “activist” of sorts, someone who grabbed upon an idea that found us as its outlet.
What then indeed?....
What then indeed? Shall we gather the stamina and energy needed to be an agent of fulfillment, or shall we turn away in fear and discomfort to the regularity of our lives… if we can? In these uncertain times, we may need to be open to being and doing more than we had intended!
