On The Go

There is something wonderful that happens when we are “on the go.” Our whole body is called to gather up energies which fuel the objects of our attentions. When we are “on the go,” we are fully alive and engaged with whatever calls us; in fact, so much so that it can be very difficult to tear ourselves away from what we are doing, and we’ll usually resist doing so.

    We are beings of action...

This should tell us that we are beings of action and are very often at our best when we focus on an idea or a task that demands a single-pointed use of who and what we are. Kids who are enthralled with an attention-getter are some of the best examples of spread-out energies to be found, so willingly are they consumed by their deeds. But being “on the go” does not always require great physical vitality. Sometimes it is the still focus on a vital thought that takes us down a path of wonder, something that can rivet our attentions to a point for hours at a time.

We are meant to be creative...

Whether we are consumed by energetic activity or focused quietly upon a compelling idea, we are meant to be creative, bringing our art and science into the world as our personal additions to the Universal Good. Thus, we should welcome our opportunities to be “on the go.”
