These days there is so much “stuff” coming up on communication devices that we are inundated daily with information that is sometimes important and sometimes devastating, so much so that we need to “mind our minds” more carefully than ever. Actually we owe it to ourselves and those whose lives we touch to be really “mindful” in handling information. With our increasing capacities to spread data growing every day, it becomes more important than ever that we pay attention to our own abilities to distribute ideas, maybe even bad ideas through our personal networks.
Am I creating ideas...
The real treasure that we have been divinely given is our capacity to think, which is truly the most creative part of us. Thus the question to be asked is… how am I using my divine gift of thought? Am I creating ideas and actions that are worthy enough to be spread around to the general public… or am I just creating more ”junk” thinking?
What ideas we are putting out in the world...
Thinking is by nature creative and infectious, and it certainly is our business to consider what ideas we are putting out in the world, especially if we hold positions of influence over others. It is not okay any longer just to “shoot from the lip” without real forethought in what we are putting out in general content. We really must think creatively, compassionately and with awareness of the gifts we have to give! We cannot overestimate the importance of this act!
